ZoneMinder LiveCD 1.19.5

Once again Ross Melin has updated his ZoneMinder LiveCD distribution, this time to the latest version, 1.19.5. The LiveCD is an ISO file featuring a full Mandrake based distribution including ZoneMinder ready to go right off the a CD. It is available from the downloads page as usual. Please note however that this is a large download (~505Mb) and I would appreciate it if you only download it if you intend to use or try it. It doesn't take many downloads before I'm into excess bandwidth charges so if you download and use it please consider donating to help cover these and other costs.

" What's new in ZMliveCD_1.19.5 ?
The CD now boots in ten different languages. Language is selected with a bootcode at the boot prompt. The installed system has desktop, browser, and zoneminder interface in the selected language. Most also have some help documents badly translated by babelfish. Supported languages are English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, and Japanese.
For those running ZM machines in "server mode" ie no X windows webmin and webCDwriter are installed. phpMyAdmin is also installed (not new in this version but no one has commented that they discovered it so I mention it here).
A new 2.6.7 kernel has resolved a number of hardware issues, and bootcodes now actually do what they are supposed to. Some of you who had display problem with the previous version may find this ones works.
And finally, ZoneMinder now actually runs from the CD. You can configure a monitor and watch the video stream before committing yourself to an installation. You can even capture events until your ramdisk fills up. This may be useful for testing your hardware prior to installing. I will be interested to hear what other uses you find for this feature.
