 ZoneMinder Android app Hi guys, we just launched a brand new app, ZMView which can be used to connect to ZoneMinder, it's version 1, so please report any bugs you might find, and of course new features you might think are useful. For the moment it only has http support but we are working on supporting https soon.
App name it's ZMView

App installed. After configure it in my Samsung Galaxy SII, clicking live view or an event it crashes.

thank you for the output, can you give us more information, like:
- what Android version are you using
- what ZoneMinder server version
- is your android device rooted?
- if possible some logs from the device?

My cell phone is not rooted, in the logs of zoneminder I could not see anything wrong.

Re: ZoneMinder Android app we released an updated, we ware able to replicate the issue. Update should be online in a couple of hours.

Updated to the latest version right now. Still does not work. I have made a test: if I put the external IP address (this.is.myip:port), the app is able to connect and recognize the ZM server, but selecting a camera for live view shows the round "waiting for operation" forever.
If I put the adress as this.is.myip:port/index.php, then selecting a camera for live view seems to work, but does not show anything.
Using the wifi and internal ip address has the same behavior....weird, isn't it???

Re: ZoneMinder Android app Hi, Does not remote connect using Samsung Galaxy SII running 2.3.6 Android. ZM 1.24.4 over Fedora 16. Remote connexion 100% working over HTTP with a PC or the same Galaxy SII using default WEB browser. Have not tried yet local (same LAN) connectivity over Wifi. Will let you know.
