I use the same on an HTC Desire, but take feeds directly from the ip cameras, not via zm.

 Re: software for android
Any one tested to turn Android phone to camera for ZM? There is at least this app: http://www.appbrain.com/app/ip-webcam/com.pas.webcamWill it work with ZM? I do have some spare Android phones and like to use them as network cameras.

 Re: software for android
I am curios, I have an Android phone and I access the ZM via the standard browser while wi-fi connected to my home network. What will you gain by bypassing ZM? If you want to bypass ZM what are you doing here?

 Re: software for android
Yes, I tried it also successfully. IP Webcam even supports to switch on and off the camera LED of the phone via the web interface. Maybe I try to make a small control script for ZoneMinder so you can switch on the light from there directly. Would work nicely to e.g. read out meters for water and power without having to go downstairs with pen and paper.
