I hoipe someone can help me as this issue has been buggin me for some time. I want to stay on linux fulltime but if I cannot use ZoneMinder for my security I may have to switch back to the dark side.
I have a GKB cam, which can be accessed by VLC using rtsp://192.168.xxx.xxx:554/CAMID.PASSWORD.mp2
This works great. Using ZoneMinder, I have configured a monitor, with the following settings
Source Type = Remote
Function = Monitor
Remote Protocol = RTSP
Remote Method = RTP/RTSP
Remote Host Name = 192.168.xxx.xxx
Remote Host Port = 554
Remote Host Path = /CAMID.PASSWORD.mp2

The Source just displays the IP of the cam in RED. When I try to view the monitor, the popup just displays the video controls but no video.

Any help on this would be appreciated.
