Hello I'm brand new to zoneminder, and I wanted to post that I have both the IQeye 510DV and 511DV cameras functional with zoneminder 1.22.3 on Ubuntu 8.04. I was experiencing the "black" image problem many other have reported to the forums regarding these cameras. What worked for me was to wget one jpeg and then set the image size in ZM to exactly that. To scale down I used the MISC tab in the config to downscale the HD camera, and left the 510DV at normal res which is 752x480. The path I am using for now is http://ipaddress/now.jpg with no other options.

I would like to share this by creating a preset for these cameras if someone can explain the process for doing that.
